I like the carnivals you mentioned-
you might want to take a look at the Make It From Scratch blog carnival. That’s a fun one with lots of ideas every Tuesday. And though it’s a meme and not a carnival, the Thursday Thirteen at thursdaythirteen.com is fun too.
