The articles about special needs children came at the best time. We are homeschooling are oldest but planned on sending one of our triplets to a special needs preschool. Our daughter Gianna is turning 3 and has cerebal palsy. She is unable to sit, crawl, stand or walk. After months of fighting with the school system and getting no placement, no equipment and only ending up with headaches we decided enough is enough. Last night I wrote my letter of intent to homeschool and was trying to get up the courage to go and mail it today. After reading these great articles about other moms homeschooling their special needs children I feel better about going through with homeschooling our daughter. I took these site as a sign that I am doing the right thing. After I finish typing this I am off to the post office to send my letter certified mail. Thanks again for the contest.
