Fall is here! We don’t have the big beautiful hardwoods that they do in Eastern Canada, like in Ontario. But here’s what our little bit (60 acres or so) of ‘bush’ looks like in the Fall.

A few days ago we saw a HUGE crane migration heading south. There were dozens of flocks of cranes flying by – I wouldn’t be surprised if the number of birds numbered in the thousands. Some flew directly over our house, some went West of us, and some went East of us. We live near a crane migration route, and until we moved here I’d never seen cranes migrating.
Winter is on it’s way.

Where I live in the south we don’t get that kind of color. It is so beautiful, thank you for sharing the picture.
Our trees are still green.
