Hi Marvin.

I'm actually surprised at how humble and down to earth Joyce is. I didn't know she was a televangelist until she mentioned it in one of her books! I too am VERY leery of televangelists, LOL - have you seen the Veggie Tales short on the Forgive-a-matic?

She's really right out there with her failings, how she's heard from God and how He's working in her life, pretty balanced teachings too. I really like her books!

Joyce Meyer! I LOVE Joyce Meyer. I don't much care for most televangelists. Especially those phony charlatans who sell their plastic Jesus thingamabobs in return for a "guaranteed blessing." But Joyce is one down-to-earth tell-it-like-it-is Christian and her messages are straight from a pure heart and without pretense or false righteousness. I even know non-Christians who will listen to her shows just for the "practical" teachings she offers for living a healthy well-rounded successful and fulfilled life.

Glad to see you promoting her on your blog, Jennifer.
