Summertime at Scrubs
You may recall a few weeks ago when I mentioned Scrubs Magazine online. Billed as the nurses guide to good living, scrubs dishes out a wide variety of articles written for and specifically pertaining to the challenges nurses faces.
They’ve just rolled out their summer season content with all sorts of tips and advice for those in the nursing field. With the new season they have some helpful advice and tips on overhauling the work wardrobe – the infamous scrubs – not necessarily to make it trendier (I mean, can scrubs really be trendy?) but to help with ease of dressing, colour co-ordination, ease of choosing an outfit for the day and more.
On second thought, after reading through additional articles from costume designers and their seasonal recommendations for spiffing up the scrubs wardrobe, it looks like scrubs can be trendy! I clicked through to some of the recommended tops, pants and shoes, and it’s almost enough to make a girl want to go shopping? It’s not just faded green anymore folks! I’m surprised I don’t see more nurses dudded up in the bright and stylish togs available for nurses these days when we’re at the hospital or doctors office!
If you’re a nurse, or just fascinated by the profession (perhaps considering it as a career), drop by the site and see what you think.
