Winner of Listening to Learn!

Congratulations to Tammy, who has won an e-book of Amy Blevin’s Listening to Learn in our recent contest (sorry for the delay in the drawing!)  Congratulations, it is an excellent resource!

I would be interested in this book because I have 3 children that seem to learn differently from each other, but I made an interesting discovery the other day. My oldest (almost 7 yo) concentrates on her math better when I have music on and my youngest (almost 3 yo) behaves better when he is listening to a CD. My middle child (5 yo) is creative and likes to make up her own songs but seems to be more visual than auditory. I think my children would benefit from adding more auditory learning to their day. My children love to read but my youngest knows his numbers 1-10 and some letters from watching educational DVDs.

I completely understand, my little ones love learning through music, and listening to stories – it’s been a true blessing to incorporate downloaded audio files into our daily routines.

I have a few more giveaways lined up, so be sure to check back soon!

Welcome!
