I just read "Dateable" (from the church library) and it had no justification for dating - but it had comments like it would "make you a better husband to the woman you *do* eventually marry" and the attitude was "just know it won't last"... well, i don't think that's very doable advice for hormonally hepped up kids :) (at least it wouldn't have been for me!)... I've got a 13 year old son, too - so it's time for me to start looking. Trouble is, i don't want to put ideas in his mind at such a young age, but i do want to address his own heart/urges as they start to surface... hard balance! I want to read this one! I know when we first became Christians like 2.5 years ago the Lord was automatically like "You did it wrong, figure it out so your children can be saved the pain."
