Contest: Rock ‘N Learn – Telling Time DVD

CONTEST CLOSED
Congratulations to Amyswandering! Thanks to everyone who entered! Amy, please email me within 72 hours with your mailing information.
Our family has recently had the privilege of reviewing a variety of Rock ‘N Learn’s educational DVDs for children. It’s with great delight that I announce a contest where one blessed winner will win a copy of Telling Time, which combines audio and visual learning in a fun format for children ages six and older to learn to tell time using both analog and digital clocks!
It seems that fewer and fewer children are being taught this vital skill, and since it takes repetition and practice to master telling time, this is a fun resource for parents to utilize as they teach their children to tell time! You can read my full length review here. You can also watch a video sample online at the Rock ‘n Learn website.
The included lessons are:
1. Learning Time Today
2. Parts of an Analog clock
3. Telling Time to the Hour
4. AM and PM
5. Telling Time to the Half Hour
6. Telling Time to the Quarter Hour
7. Practice Counting by Fives
8. Telling Time to Five Minutes
9. Fun Review and Practice
10. Telling Time to the Exact Minute
11. Digital Clocks
12. Bonus: Calendars, Days of the Week, Months of the Year
My six year old can now read time to the five minutes fairly consistently with a bit of prompting, so we’re well on our way!
If you’re interested in purchasing any of Rock ‘N Learn’s fun educational DVDs, now is your chance! I have a special coupon code that is valid from today until September 01, 2009 for 25% off your purchase! Just enter JQ7711 at the time of purchase for your discount!
Thanks to Rock ‘N Learn I have one (1) free DVD of Telling Time to give away to a blessed winner in the US or Canada!
