Mid-Month Emergencies
This year we have generally been blessed to maintain a ‘cushion’ fund for any unexpected expenses or emergencies. There have however been years when we have not been so fortunate, and have had to borrow money (either from credit cards or from relatives). Unexpected expenses such as emergency health care bills (for our US readers), or major vehicle breakdowns can really throw a wrench in the budget.
To date our family has never used a cash advance service, and in all honesty, I’d advise anyone considering this step to pray and carefully read any agreement and ensure that it can be repaid promptly to avoid high interest charges before agreeing to any terms. Perhaps your church family would be willing to step in and assist you with your needs – check with your deacon.
It’s unfortunate but true that there can be a need for these services in the face of the unexpected – the oncoming death of a close relative that requires an emergency airplane ticket, a lack of available credit from other sources and so on. Just ensure that the expenditure is legitimate and justified – cash advance loans are not to be spent frivolously, on gifts, as “mad-money” etc.
If you do find yourself at the end of your rope, cashnetusa offers fast approvals and a no-hassle application process – just keep the above thoughts in mind before you apply
