Today I was blessed to find a gorgeous jewel-toned blue maternity shirt today at the Value Village for $4! It’s empire waisted (with those maternity gathers), and has flowers on the bottom front. Now I really feel pregnant 
– maternity gathers! But, really I feel very feminine in it (and I’d much rather feel pregnant than plump), and DH thinks I look pretty! Light blue is his favorite color, purple is mine, so this is a pretty good cross between the two.
We also bought some really lovely dressy-dresses for the girls – they like to wear fancy dresses to church – for some great prices, and picked up some birthday presents for Sarah too. After being pretty wiped out early in the day we finally made it out and did some shopping!

Yes, we are Canadians, and yesterday we came into the ‘big-city’ for the fireworks and had a great time! It was a HUGE day for the children, because first they had bouncers, and a petting zoo, and all sorts of fun games to play, then it was off to grandma-mom’s house for visiting, then back to the big park for the HUGE fireworks display! They were so tired by day’s end, but had a blast . We’re thankful for free fireworks and family-oriented activities (well, we paid for diesel, but…you know ).
So, today we’re shopping and then it will be back home. Zzzzzzz.
