Well, after posting about Larry needing a pocket watch, he finally has a high-quality pocket watch that is lasting him – so good so far.  The cheap one I bought him didn’t hold out :O!  In any case, he IS carrying it, and I think he’s finding it helpful with his schedule.  Sometimes I think that I should get a watch – not a pocket watch – I don’t always have pockets on me.

Because I’ve been feeling very ‘girly’ I’m definitely liking pink watches!  I was looking at some dolce and gabbana watches online, and while some of them are a bit ‘over the top bling’ for me – really thick bands, and LOTS of crystals – but there are some that are more subdued.

I really like the one they have with the pink dial and the smooth white leather band with contrasting pink stitching (if only it was silver.)  It has just a few crystals around the outside edge of the dial, around 3 rows deep on the top and bottom and around 1 row deep on the sides.  It only has crystal markings for the hours instead of numbers, but I suppose you could get used to it (I’m a numbers girl myself.)  I definitely need to make sure wrist bands are adjustable (I had links taken out of my last watch which I then quickly outgrew as I got pregnant with my first baby – yes it’s been awhile.)

Yes, I think it’s just a matter of time before a pink watch will be mine!
