Fancy Hair-Dos

I have to admit that I have never been a fancy hair-do girl.  When I got married I had very, very short hair, so I just washed, let it dry, put a bit of gel in the front and a white headband and I was off!  When I graduated from high school, I didn’t have one of the fancy prom hairstyles that can be designed, I wore a lace snood!  So I just stuffed my hair into it and off I went!  Even today I wear a Israeli style tichel that I tie so that it covers most of my hair except for the front portions – never a bad hair day!

Still, there are some lovely formal hairstyles that can be done.  At my sister-in-law Sherry’s wedding last week both she and her sister Sharon had lovely, classic up-dos.  Sherry likes to do fancy hairstyles on my little girls when they visit together too, and they always have a blast!  My own sisters also like to play with the girls’ hair when we visit them.  I’m glad our girls have relatives who like to play with them that way.

Welcome!
