Welcome to our families blog! We are a Christian family, Larry (42) and I (29) (my testimony) were saved in the Fall of 2006, and life has never been the same! We are following our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as we seek to raise our children for Him. We have two littles on the ground, 5 and 2, and 1 more on the way this summer! We believe that children are a blessing from the Lord, hence our website, quiverfullfamily.com - and we believe that our discipling of these blessings is one of the most important things we can do. We also believe in biblical roles for men and women, courtship for our children, self-employment as the norm, psalm singing - we’re just full of conviction here, and I’m sure you’ll learn more about us as you browse through our blog.

We are a homeschooling, work at home family, our days are filled with many adventures, reading, crafting, cooking, cleaning, working together as a family in various money making ventures :). We live in a natural-hybrid-straw-clay house, off-grid, wood heated home, powered by wind and solar. We are seeking to live frugally, pay down our debts, and seek to glorify God as we struggle through this life.

On our blog you’ll find articles, resources, contests etc. related to homesteading, homeschooling, recipes, healthy living, sewing, frugal living, christian family living, christian book reviews, maybe even product reviews at some point, and so much more! I’m a resource junkie and love to do research on various resources of interest to conservative Christian families.
